Last weekend (3th - 4th of September 2016) our club accomplished two days long hiking trip with rucksacks, following the same way as 2nd Czechoslovak Paratrooper's Brigade was retreating to mountains after SNP^* has been supressed in October 1944. 55 kilometres long trip started in Hiadeľ, continued through Prašivá where paratroopers regrouped and then through Veľká Choduľa to Chabanec. During second day our group marched down to village Krpáčovo where paratroopers found shelters in local antimony mines and adjacent valley.
