Our goal was to show fights of 237th Rifle Division and 20th Machine Gun Battalion of 159th Fortress Division, supported by tanks and Self-propelled guns of 5th Guards Tank Brigade of 18th Army (RKKA^*). This section has been defended by parts of 97th Jäger Division and parts of 254th Wehrmacht Infantry Division. Parts of elite 1st Ski Division of Wehrmach were located in the nearby village Grajciar. Original fights took place between 17th and 19th of August 1945. Our fight reconstruction was held in the authentic places where original fights happened.
