On April 6, 1945, the village of Jablonica was liberated by troops of the 2nd Ukrainian Front, composed of Soviet and Romanian armies under the command of Marshal of the USSR, Rodion Yakovlevich Malinovsky (rus. Родио́н Я́ковлевич Малино́вский), First Guard Mechanized Group of Lieutenant General Ivan Aleksandrovich Plijev (rus. Иван Александрович Плиев) , 53rd Army of General Mepodievitch Managarov (rus. Иван мефодиевич манагаров) and 1st Romanian Army.

First secretary of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Slovak Republic, ​​Nikolai Sergeyevich Ryzhov, took part in the memorial act and the unveiling of reconstructed memorial. During the memorial act, guard of honor was held by the members of Klub vojenskej histórie Svoboda, together with members of KPVT Senica, KVH Záhorie and KVPH Dojč.

The renovation and repair of the anti-aircraft cannon vz.44S 85mm was under the direction of Daniel Šimek, a member of KVH Svoboda. 14 people spent over 450 hours with renovation. Cannon was repaired from the funds of village of Jablonica and with financial support of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Slovak Republic.
